Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel is seeking a Night Supervisor who ensures the smooth nightly operation and maintains high standards across Front Office activities. You will supervise the night team, handle guest requests, and support the Front Office Manager with admin tasks.

Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus, and you should be comfortable working nights, weekends, and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is required.
• Night supervision requires English proficiency and flexible hours.
• Opera property management system experience is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a Night Supervisor who lives life to discover and brings personal style to every guest experience. You are the one who takes responsibility for the complete nightly operation and makes sure that the rest of the team operates in the same way during your absence. You have excellent administration skills and are proficient in communicating with guests and your colleagues.

Your day will consist of…

• Run daily reports and check reports for accuracy

• Process, check and correct (if needed) payment transactions

• Assist the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks

• Supervising Front Office operations during the night to maintain a consistently high standard.

• Overseeing Front Office activities between guests, the hotel, and various departments.

• Maximizing sales revenues through up-selling.

• Leading by example, setting the standard for exceptional service and teamwork.

• Monitoring team performance and providing feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.

• Ensuring a seamless handover at the start and end of each shift.

• Come with initiatives to improve the nightly operation

• Warmly welcoming guests and efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs

• Assisting guests with their requests and providing service according to our Brand Standards

• Make sure the lobby area is nice and tidy

• Have Hotel Experience: Previous experience working in a hotel environment

• Enjoy working during the night, but you are also flexible if necessary

• Have Opera Knowledge: Experience with the Opera property management system.

• Personal Touch: Ability to infuse your personal style into every guest interaction.

• Flexible Availability: Willingness to work during the week and weekends, and flexible to work various shifts if required

• Have language Skills: Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
