Job summary

JouwWeb / Webador is seeking a Front-End Engineer to shape our in-browser website editor used by hundreds of thousands of users. You will build web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern CSS/HTML, focusing on UX, performance, and ongoing experiments.

Based in Eindhoven with a hybrid work model, you will collaborate with product and design teams to translate ideas into reliable, fast features and continuously improve the editor experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and React using modern CSS/HTML.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals, browser behavior and DOM rendering.
• Experience with clean code architecture and AI tool-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Improve In-Browser Editor: make website building fast, intuitive and reliable for non-technical users.
• Experiment & iterate: run product experiments and gather user feedback to improve retention and reduce churn.
• Balance UX & engineering: collaborate with engineers and designers to turn ideas into user-friendly features.
• Performance & quality: keep web apps fast, modernize legacy patterns and maintain a healthy codebase.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development without compromising quality.
