Front-end Developer (40 hours per week, including 24 hours on-site in Amsterdam)
At Business Radar, we build technology that scans and processes millions of web pages daily to detect risks, uncover trends, and deliver insights that help companies maintain sustainable and reliable business relationships.
Our platform empowers clients with valuable intelligence, but the way users experience these insights is just as important as the data itself.
We’re looking for a Front-end Developer with a strong sense for UX, design, and detail to help shape the interface that brings Business Radar’s intelligence to life. You’ll work closely with our backend and data teams to create intuitive, performant, and visually engaging applications that make complex information feel simple.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for our data-driven web applications
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to improve usability and engagement
- Translate complex workflows and analytical data into clear, intuitive visualizations
- Help define and evolve our design system and front-end architecture
- Continuously experiment with new UI concepts and interactions to enhance user experience
- Work with the latest technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React (Next.js is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (or Tailwind CSS)
- Experience with UX design tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD)
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g. Recharts, D3.js, or Chart.js)
- Experience working with REST APIs (Django REST Framework backend experience is a plus)
- Ability to translate user needs into clean, maintainable, and elegant design implementations
- Strong eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
