Job summary

Rosewood Amsterdam is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead the Front Desk team, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm welcome and a memorable departure, while upholding the hotel’s luxury standards.

You will supervise shifts, coach colleagues, handle guest requests, and collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience and other departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.

Qualifications

• Front Office supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, hands-on leader in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front Desk operations during your shift.
• Create warm, personalized arrival and departure experiences for all guests.
• Coach and motivate Front Office associates to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests and feedback promptly while ensuring positive outcomes.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge and other departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Monitor VIP arrivals and departures to ensure operational excellence.

YOUR ROLE

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of the Front Desk, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and a memorable departure experience. Through your leadership, coaching, and operational expertise, you will support the Front Office team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism. Your ability to anticipate guest needs, resolve challenges, and inspire your team will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the hotel.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Supervise Front Desk operations during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Create warm, personalized, and seamless arrival and departure experiences for all guests.
• Support, coach, and motivate Front Office associates to consistently deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly while ensuring positive outcomes.
• Monitor room allocations, arrivals, departures, and VIP guests to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.

• You have experience in a Front Office supervisory position within a hospitality or luxury hotel environment.
• You are a confident leader who enjoys coaching, developing, and motivating team members.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
• You are proactive, hands‑on, and thrive on finding solutions in dynamic operational environments.
• You remain calm, organized, and professional while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• You are comfortable working with hotel property management systems and are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
