Job summary

Mitrofresh is seeking a Fruit and Vegetable Quality Inspector to check mushrooms, exotic fruit and vegetables daily, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will liaise with colleagues when something is out of spec and record inspection results accurately.

You will work in an international environment where pace, quality and teamwork are key, with responsibilities spanning inspection, sampling, documentation and continuous improvement ideas.

Qualifications

• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You have a practical mindset and enjoy getting things done.
• You keep a clear overview, even when things get busy.
• You feel at home in an international working environment.
• You have a good command of English.
• Experience in quality, fruit and vegetables, food or logistics is an advantage.
• Experience as a quality assistant, QC inspector, inspector or QA officer is an advantage.
• You live in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• You’ll inspect incoming and outgoing fresh produce
• You’ll assess quality, freshness, packaging, labelling and temperature
• You’ll identify any discrepancies and discuss them with colleagues
• You’ll clearly record inspection results
• You’ll assist with sampling, analyses and quality documentation
• You’ll contribute ideas on food safety, hygiene and quality improvements
• You’ll liaise with logistics, production, procurement and sales
