Job summary

Groove Digital is hiring a Framer Developer to build full sites from Figma in Framer, with a strong focus on motion, CMS setup, and platform extensions. You will own how projects use Framer and decide on when Webflow or native tools are preferable for a client.

The role requires an eye for typography and timing, plus experience with HTML/CSS and React to implement code components. Dutch and English fluency are expected, and you will collaborate with the Amsterdam team.

Qualifications

• At least a year of building real sites in Framer.
• Excellent eye for spacing, rhythm, typography, and timing.
• Motion literacy with opinions on easing, duration, and choreography.
• Comfort with code: HTML, CSS and enough React to build a code component.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Build full sites in Framer from Figma, responsive to the last breakpoint with scalable components and variants.
• Own the motion: implement scroll effects, transitions, micro-interactions and state changes.
• Set up the CMS: Collections, localisation and client-facing content structures.
• Extend the platform: code React components when needed, plus integrations and custom overrides.
• Keep it fast and findable: optimize Core Web Vitals and semantic structure.

They need a site that moves so well people remember it. That is what Framer is for, and that is what you build.You own the platform inside Groove Digital. That means you set the standard for how we use it, which projects it is right for, and what we tell a client when Webflow is the better answer. It is a small discipline today, and you get to decide what it becomes.### What will you do?* **Build in Framer:** Full sites from Figma, responsive down to the last breakpoint, with components and variants that scale past the first three pages.* **Own the motion:** Scroll effects, page transitions, micro-interactions and state changes that feel inevitable rather than added.* **Set up the CMS:** Collections, localisation and content structures the client's team can actually use.* **Extend the platform:** Code components in React when the native toolkit runs out, plus integrations and custom overrides.* **Keep it fast and findable:** Core Web Vitals, semantic structure and clean metadata, because beautiful and invisible is worth nothing.### What we expect from you* **At least a year of building real sites in Framer,** with a portfolio of live links rather than dribbble shots.* **An exceptional eye:** Spacing, rhythm, typography and timing.
