Job summary

Demcon Maastricht is seeking an FPGA engineer specializing in embedded software to develop and test FPGA solutions that work closely with software on embedded platforms.

You will work with tools such as Vivado, Vitis, ModelSim and Python test benches, contribute to system architecture, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, verifiable and manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FPGA development experience with VHDL/Verilog
• Experience with embedded software on Linux, Windows or ARM/Intel platforms
• Proficient in C, C++, and Python
• Strong ownership and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Develop and test FPGA solutions in collaboration with embedded software
• Translate requirements into FPGA and software architectures
• Ensure robust interfaces, drivers and algorithms
• Support verification using HDL test benches
