SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in The Hague is seeking a seasoned Business Control Advisor to lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting for a global development organisation. You will drive automation and AI-enabled analytics to deliver scalable insights that inform decisions at senior levels.

The role focuses on aligning financial and program data, enhancing data storytelling, and ensuring donor compliance while supporting project-level analysis and country-level

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in finance, economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/CIMA are a plus.
• 7+ years in FP&A, business control, finance partnering, or analytics in complex international environments.
• Proven ability to lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive decision support.
• Strong data storytelling to translate complex data into clear actions for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A processes: planning, mid-year review, forecasting, reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Translate data into concise narratives, highlighting risks/opportunities for the CFO and executives.
• Drive automation and scalable analytics using Power BI, workflows, and AI-enabled analysis.
• Strengthen cross-country performance insights and align financial and non-financial indicators.
• Support project-based financial management, donor compliance, and cost-recovery considerations.
• Develop tools and standards for reliable, actionable financial insights across teams.
