Job summary

AKIN is a Dutch biotech startup in Delft seeking a Founders' Associate / Business Analyst (Internship) to work directly with the founders on prioritising customers and partners and shaping AKIN's next steps. You will own projects from the first question to final recommendations and help with fundraising and business development.

Role focuses on building business cases, conducting customer interviews, and turning findings into actionable insights for investors and partners.

Qualifications

• Enrolled for a pre-master, master's or MBA at the start of the internship
• STEM or business background with technical experience
• Familiarity with strategy consulting, VC, or a startup in deep-tech, biotech or materials
• Fluent English; Dutch or German is advantageous
• Right to internship in the Netherlands without permit requirements

Responsibilities

• Own projects from question to final recommendation for customers, partners and investors
• Support founders' fundraising and business development
• Build business cases, market size, pricing and scaling economics
• Interview customers and partners and extract clear findings on requirements, volumes and timelines
