Bloom Studios is a 15-person company building the next generation of AI-powered content creation: proprietary software and the creative expertise to use it, delivered together to some of the world's biggest brands. The founding team is two people, which means the person who joins in this role gets real exposure to everything from client relationships to product strategy, investor communications, and all the decisions that move the business.
The Founder's Associate works directly with the two co-founders across strategy, operations, client communications, and internal coordination. Some weeks you're the person making sure nothing drops; other weeks you're leading a project that would otherwise sit in a queue indefinitely. You need to be genuinely comfortable switching between those two modes on short notice.
The role carries a lot of commercially sensitive context, so discretion is a baseline expectation. You'll also need the judgment to know when to move fast and when to flag something before it becomes a problem.
What You'll Do
Founder Support & Operations
- Own the founders' follow-through: track open threads, decisions, and commitments across active workstreams and close them out or escalate appropriately
- Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and internal reviews, structuring the content rather than just formatting it
- Identify process gaps and fix them, without being asked twice
- Manage scheduling and coordination for high-priority external meetings and calls
Client & Partner Communications
- Own written communications with enterprise clients on behalf of the founding team, to B2B standard
- Draft proposals, briefs, scope summaries, and executive-facing updates
- Represent Bloom in client-facing interactions, in writing and, as confidence is earned, in calls
Strategic Projects
- Lead discrete projects from scoping to delivery; examples from recent months include competitive analysis, supplier compliance reviews, and market-facing content programmes
- Research and synthesise information to support business decisions: market analysis, vendor evaluation, pricing benchmarks
- Build frameworks and processes that outlive the project that prompted them
Internal Coordination
- Act as the coordination layer between the founding team and the rest of the company, ensuring context gets to the right people at the right time
- Run cross-functional threads across a hybrid local and remote team
- Keep the operating rhythm of the business consistent: weekly priorities, meeting agendas, async updates
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, a scale-up, an investment firm, or a startup in a generalist or operations role
- Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication: you can produce a client-facing email, a structured brief, and an investor-ready summary, each in the right register
- Based in or commutable to Amsterdam (minimum 3 days per week in-office)
- Legal right to work in The Netherlands — we are not able to sponsor visas
Nice to have
- Background in B2B SaaS, professional services, or enterprise client management
- Experience working across Dutch and international contexts, culturally fluent and comfortable with English as a primary working language
- Experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders: board presentations, strategy documents, executive briefings
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Linear, Slack, and Google Workspace as a coordination stack
- Exposure to AI, creative production, or content technology
