Job summary

art'otel Amsterdam offers an internship in Food & Beverage, delivering service across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment.

As part of a team opposite Amsterdam Central Station, you will learn how exceptional service creates memorable guest experiences while gaining exposure to ARCA and culinary operations. The internship starts in September 2026 with a full-time learning experience for at least 5 months.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in hospitality, hotel management, or related program.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).
• Passion for food, drinks and guest service.
• Hands-on and proactive attitude.
• Flexible and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Availability for at least 5 months.
• Eligible to complete internship in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service across restaurant, bar, breakfast and events.
• Welcome guests with a warm, engaging, and professional approach.
• Support mise en place, service preparation, and closing duties.
• Explain menus, make recommendations, and support guests with dietary requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Work closely with the kitchen and team to ensure a smooth service flow.
• Stay flexible and support different outlets depending on business needs.
• Contribute to creating a positive, energetic, and collaborative team environment.

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study program

• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience or strong interest in Food & Beverage or hospitality
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset
• Dutch or any additional language is an advantage

We provide a monthly allowance of €550, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with of job‑related expenses.
