Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a motivated Simulator Technician in Amsterdam to diagnose and repair simulators, perform preventive maintenance, and support a wide range of flight simulation systems.

Qualifications

• Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace/Aviation, or Computer Engineering.
• At least 1 year relevant experience in a technical field.
• Strong basic knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and related systems.
• Learn and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on simulator systems.
• Use the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain simulator conditions.
• Support the technical services group as needed.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations in an aviation training environment.
