Job summary

DHL Express zoekt een parcel courier in Nieuw-Vennep. Je vertrekt vanaf het depot en levert pakketten op tijd bij particulieren en bedrijven in de regio Haarlemmermeer met een glimlach en professionele houding.

Je rijdt met een DHL‑wagen, scant pakketten, verzamelt handtekeningen en houdt de administratie up-to-date. Een flexibele 24–40 uur per week en een marktconform tarief behoren tot de arbeidsvoorwaarden.

Qualifications

• Voldoende rijbewijs B en minimaal 1 jaar ervaring.
• In een bus/van kunnen rijden is een plus.
• Beschikbaar 24-40 uur, minimaal drie dagen per week.
• Wonen nabij Nieuw-Vennep en eigen vervoer naar depot.
• MBO 4 niveau, kunt werken met scannersystemen.
• Vriendelijk, servicegericht en duidelijk in communicatie.

Responsibilities

• Rijd DHL‑wagen en lever pakketten op tijd bij klanten.
• Laad/ontlaad je wagen en controleer pakketten.
• Gebruik navigatie en DHL-systemen en pas aan bij verkeersdrukte.
• Verwelkom klanten vriendelijk en beantwoord korte vragen.
• Scan pakketten, verzamel handtekeningen en houd administratie bij.

Do you like being on the road, meeting different people during the day and finishing your shift knowing you have helped an entire area receive their parcels on time?

As a parcel courier at DHL Express in Nieuw-Vennep, you start your shift at the depot where you greet your colleagues, grab a coffee and load your van. In DHL workwear you head out on your route in the Haarlemmermeer region. With your scanner and navigation system you follow a clear route, make short friendly stops at homes and businesses, and keep your administration up to date. At the end of your shift you return to the depot, hand in your scanner, have a quick chat with the planner and colleagues, and you are ready to go home or to your study or family commitments.

Your tasks:

• You drive your DHL van safely through your region and deliver parcels on time to private and business customers.
• You load and unload your van carefully and check your parcels so your route starts and ends in an organised way.
• You use navigation and DHL systems to plan and follow your route and adjust when traffic or volume changes.
• You greet customers in a friendly way, answer short questions and make sure every delivery feels professional.
• You scan parcels, collect signatures and keep your digital administration accurate throughout your shift.

Wat we je bieden

• Hourly wage: €16.60 to €20.75 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly or four-weekly salary payment, whichever suits you best
• Flexible working hours: 24 to 40 hours per week
• Holiday allowance: 8% accrued on your earned salary
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometer, up to 40 km one way travel.

Wat we van je vragen

You enjoy being on the road, helping customers and taking responsibility for your own route and results.

• Valid B driving licence, at least 1 year of experience
• Being able to drive a van is a plus.
• Available 24-40 hours, at least three days weekly
• Living near Nieuw-Vennep and own transport to depot
• MBO 4 level, can work with scanning systems
• Friendly, service-minded and clear in communication
