Job summary

Trinamics in Eindhoven is seeking a First Line Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for advanced lithography systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will be the first line of support for Factory and Field Integration, solving disturbances and ensuring production continuity during your shift.

You will troubleshoot, analyze issues, develop action plans, and coach execution engineers, with a strong emphasis on uptime, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent vocational technical qualification with relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing.
• Above-average troubleshooting skills and genuine problem-solving interest.
• Structured, analytical approach to fast issue assessment and action planning.
• Experience with hardware and resolving disturbances.
• Willingness to work a 5-shift schedule including nights.

Responsibilities

• Act as first line technical support for Factory and Field Integration teams.
• Independently troubleshoot and analyse disturbances during your shift.
• Identify root causes involving hardware, tests, performance or production progress.
• Develop clear action plans for execution teams to resolve issues.
• Provide hands-on support for complex hardware interventions.
• Minimise downtime and secure production progress, especially at night.
• Collaborate with the QRT 2-shift team and other technical departments.
• Coach execution engineers to strengthen troubleshooting skills.
• Share knowledge and hands-on experience with colleagues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and thorough aftercare.
