Second line challenge
  • Critically review and challenge first line proposals on:
    • Model calibration (e.g. behavioural assumptions, replication portfolios)
    • Hedging strategies and structural positioning
  • Scenario design and stress testing approaches
  • Provide independent quantitative assessment and recommendations
Balance sheet and hedging analysis
  • Analyse the impact of hedging strategies on IRRBB metrics and risk profile
  • Support evaluation of alternative strategies and calibration approaches

  • Prepare high‑quality analysis, materials, and narratives for:
    • ALCO
    • Risk committees
    • Senior management discussions
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, decision‑relevant messages
Collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Work closely with Group Treasury, Risk, Modelling, and local entities
  • Act as a key analytics partner within the IRRBB function
