Job summary

ING is seeking a Financial Risk Specialist focused on IRRBB analytics and insights to strengthen the second line analytics within Banking Book Risk. You will analyze risk drivers across the balance sheet, support risk oversight, and enable informed decisions at the senior management level.

The role blends quantitative analysis, Python tooling, and risk storytelling, with exposure to ALCO and risk committees.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, econometrics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of IRRBB, ALM or Banking Book Risk experience.
• Experience with IRRBB models and analytics (e.g. EVE, NII, behavioural models).
• Strong Python programming skills and ability to build analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of IRRBB risk drivers (EVE, NII, behavioural models).
• Design and develop Python-based analytical tools for IRRBB monitoring, scenario analysis and deep dives.
• Translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions.
• Critically review and challenge first line proposals on scenario design and stress testing approaches.
