Job summary

SolCo, part of Solution Company, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for the Venlo/Maastricht region. The role ensures finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting for the legal entity, acting as the service receiver for SAP-driven Shared Services.

You will handle cost accounting, variances, and journal entries, while ensuring internal controls and timely reporting. The position offers hybrid work with on-site presence in Venlo/Maastricht and remote work options.

Qualifications

• MSc – BSc level in Accounting/ Financial Controlling; and/ or licensed certified public accountant.
• Good written and oral communication in English; finance processes knowledge.
• SAP experience required; strong analytical capabilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for Finance Partner and budget holders to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage balance sheet and reconciliation for the entity.
• Ensure group and statutory financials are accurate and complete.
• Ensure services with Financial Shared Services are delivered to standard.
• Perform product costing, variances, manufacturing performance analyses, inventories, CAPEX, and allocation cycles in SAP.
• Provide journal entries content (accruals, provisions, corrections) to shared service center.
• Provide evidence for Internal Control Framework and remediation follow-up.

This position is part of the Solutions Business (SolCo) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.

For our Finance function, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller for the legal entity in Venlo, the Netherlands.

As our successful Financial Controller, you will ensure delivery and execution of the finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting activities for the legal entity.

You will act as service receiver for closing services as supplied by Financial Shared Services.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Point of contact for the Finance Business Partner & direct contact with budget holders to support budgeting and forecasting process
• Responsible for balance sheet management and reconciliation for the entity
• Ensuring group, as well as statutory financials are accurate and complete
• Ensuring agreed services with FSS (Financial Shared Services) are delivered up to standard
• Responsible for (and analyses on) product costing, variance analyses manufacturing performance, Inventories, CAPEX and first line analyses and insights for actuals, forecasts and budget, and for setting up relevant allocation cycles in SAP
• Providing all (accruals, provisions, corrections, etc.) content for Journal Entries (recurring and incidental) to the shared service center
• Providing evidence for the Internal Control Framework and follow up on remediation plans.

You Bring

• MSc – BSc level in Accounting/ Financial Controlling; and/ or licensed certified public accountant
• Good level of written and oral communication skills in EnglishIn-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of Finance and Accounting processes
• SAP experience
• Analytical skills, by making use of the latest digital tooling.
• Team-player attitude, excellent inter-personal and stakeholder management skills
