Job summary

Ahold Delhaize is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen our financial reporting, compliance, and analytical support across Commerce, Operations, Real Estate and Tax controlling tasks.

You will implement local policies in line with EU standards, oversee monthly close, prepare journal entries, review variances, and drive standardization and automation of reporting in a hybrid work setup with flexible hours and a home-office balance.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years in financial controlling or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reporting and financial controlling policies.
• Ensure alignment of EU policies with local requirements in daily operations and projects.
• Plan, prepare, execute, and oversee monthly reporting for accuracy.
• Consolidate reports across organizational levels and advise stakeholders.
• Prepare and approve non-standard journal entries and analyze variances.
• Standardize and automate reporting to comply with Group policies.
