Blockbax, a forward‑looking SaaS company in Rotterdam, is hiring a Financial Controller in a hybrid role (up to 50% remote). The position oversees the full financial backbone, from accounting to strategic analysis, with a clear growth path toward CFO responsibilities.

You'll partner with leadership and shareholders, implement robust processes, budgets, forecasts, and reporting, and translate numbers into actionable guidance that drives scale and value.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
• 3–5+ years of experience in accountancy or financial control.
• Strong and proven expertise in Excel (fast, accurate, structured).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
• Sharp analytical thinking with the ability to see the full financial picture.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable advising leadership.

Blockbax is entering a decisive growth phase, and as Financial Controller, you will own the full finance function, acting as a strategic partner to leadership and shareholders. This role offers significant responsibility and a path to CFO-level duties in a scaling SaaS company.

Location: Rotterdam (hybrid; up to 50% remote)

What you'll do

You will take end-to-end ownership of the finance function and act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and shareholders.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
• 3–5+ years of experience in accountancy or financial control.
• Strong and proven expertise in Excel (you’re fast, accurate, and structured)
