Job summary

JPGray - Netherlands in Hoofddorp is seeking a meticulous Financial Controller to join its international finance team. The role covers month-end closing, reconciliations, VAT, and cash flow activities across multiple entities, with a focus on process improvements and financial accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in financial controlling or accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience (Exenta or Dynamics), and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling or accounting.
• Strong month-end close and reconciliations experience.
• ERP experience with Exenta or Dynamics is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and executing month-end closing processes.
• Supporting audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Performing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Posting accruals, provisions, and journal entries.
• Reviewing P&L and financial data accuracy.
• Supporting VAT compliance and reviewing VAT coding.
• Assisting with cash flow and banking activities.
• Supporting reporting and improving financial processes.
