Job summary

Michael Page (Netherlands) is assisting a regulated financial services client in Amsterdam to appoint a Financial Controller. The role focuses on financial governance, regulatory reporting and driving business performance oversight.

The successful candidate will prepare and review financial reports, monitor ledgers, coordinate statutory reporting and support audits, while enhancing internal controls and driving performance improvements across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial control, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Background within financial services, banking, insurance, asset management, or a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
