Job summary

Wolters Kluwer N.V. zoekt een Financial Accountant die verantwoordelijk is voor maandafsluitingen, verslaglegging en interne controles binnen een Benelux-context.

Je werkt nauw samen met de manager, interne en externe stakeholders en draagt bij aan procesoptimalisatie. Je combineert operationele accountingtaken met compliance en internal controls, werkt in een internationale omgeving en ondersteunt bij centralisatie en harmonisatie.

Qualifications

• HBOopleiding Finance & Control, Accountancy of Bedrijfseconomie (of vergelijkbaar).
• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante ervaring in accounting of finance.
• Ervaring met maandafsluiting en reporting.
• Kennis van btw, payroll en interne controles.
• Ervaring met samenwerking met accountants en audits.
• Goede kennis van SAP en Excel (macro’s zijn een plus).
• Ervaring met tools zoals BlackLine of S/4HANA is een plus.
• Vloeiende kennis van Nederlands en Engels.

Responsibilities

• Maandafsluitingen, journaalposten en balansspecificaties beheren.
• Ondersteunen bij jaarafsluiting en auditprocessen.
• Voorbereiden en aanleveren van financiële informatie aan accountants.
• Opvolgen van btw- en payroll-gerelateerde topics.
• Contact onderhouden met lokale autoriteiten en externe stakeholders.
• Beheren en verbeteren van internal controls.
• Samenwerken met offshore teams en internationale collega’s.
• Aanspreekpunt en sparringpartner binnen het finance team.

Bouw mee aan de verdere uitbouw van Finance binnen Wolters Kluwer

Ben jij een ervaren accounting professional die verder kijkt dan louter boekhouding? Werk je graag in een brede rol waarin je niet alleen verantwoordelijk bent voor financiële processen, maar ook mee bouwt aan een toekomstgerichte finance organisatie? Binnen Wolters Kluwer zoeken we een Financial Accountant die een sleutelrol zal spelen binnen het finance team en bijdraagt aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze Benelux samenwerking.

De rol

Als Financial Accountant maak je deel uit van een compact en ervaren finance team en fungeer je als rechterhand van de manager. Je krijgt een brede en veelzijdige rol, met verantwoordelijkheid over diverse financiële processen en contacten met interne en externe stakeholders. Je combineert operationele accountingtaken met verantwoordelijkheden rond internal control, compliance en procesoptimalisatie en denkt actief mee over hoe finance verder kan professionaliseren. Daarnaast werk je in een internationale context en draag je bij aan de verdere centralisatie en samenwerking binnen de Benelux.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

• Verantwoordelijk voor maandafsluitingen, journal entries en balans specificaties
• Ondersteunen bij de jaarafsluiting en auditprocessen
• Voorbereiden en aanleveren van financiële informatie aan accountants
• Opvolgen van btw- en payroll gerelateerde topics
• Contact onderhouden met lokale autoriteiten en externe stakeholders
• Beheren en verbeteren van internal controls
• Samenwerken met offshore teams (o.a. Polen, India) en internationale collega’s
• Funeren als aanspreekpunt en sparringpartner binnen het finance team en andere stakeholders
• Ondersteun de finance manager als rechterhand en neem initiatief in de afstemming, prioritering en voorbereiding van besluitvorming
• Actief bijdragen aan de optimalisatie van financiële processen
• Meewerken aan centralisatie en harmonisatie binnen de Benelux

Jouw profiel

• HBO opleiding in Finance & Control, Accountancy of Bedrijfseconomie (of vergelijkbaar)
• 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting of finance
• Ervaring met maandafsluiting en reporting
• Kennis van btw, payroll en internal controls
• Ervaring in samenwerking met accountants en audits
• Goede kennis van SAP en Excel (macro’s zijn een plus)
• Ervaring met tools zoals BlackLine of S/4HANA is een plus
• Vloeiende kennis van Nederlands en Engels
