Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to drive the R2R transformation program from our Amsterdam office. You will lead cross-functional efforts with global finance, IT and operations to automate financial processes, ensure IFRS compliance, and deliver faster month-end closes.

A hands-on leader, you will own project workstreams and define clear deliverables. The role requires senior accounting/finance leadership, multinational experience and expertise in Workday

Qualifications

• Senior accounting or finance management background with deep R2R and financial controls.
• Proven track record in finance transformation, process re-engineering or complex system implementations in multinational environments.
• Strong IFRS knowledge applied to practical operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed reviews of current R2R processes to design streamlined, future-state operations.
• Reshape the MEC schedule with global finance teams to balance workloads and drive excellence.
• Review and update accounting policies and SOPs to reflect optimized processes.
• Act as functional owner for project workstreams with defined deliverables.
• Partner with Finance Systems and IT to specify automation requirements in Workday and OneStream.
• Develop and execute change management plans, training materials and communications.

About this role

Join a critical finance transformation initiative as Finance Transformation Manager within our R2R Transformation team. Acting as a hands‑on leader and change champion, you will drive key workstreams in our Month‑End Close Reset (MEC Reset) program to build faster, highly reliable, and automated financial processes. In this role, you will lead with determination, collaborating closely across global finance, IT, and operations to deliver excellence and support our customer‑centric mission.

• Lead detailed reviews of current R2R processes to design streamlined, future‑state operations that reduce manual effort and accelerate timelines.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to reshape the MEC schedule, balancing workloads and driving operational excellence.
• Review and update accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect optimized processes.
• Act as functional owner for key project workstreams, defining clear deliverables and driving them to completion.
• Partner with Finance Systems and IT teams to specify requirements for automation in Workday and OneStream.
• Develop and execute change management plans, training materials, and communications to support seamless adoption.
• Facilitate workshops with Country Finance Leads, Controllers, and Business Partners to build consensus and alignment.
• Ensure all redesigned processes comply with IFRS and internal control frameworks while maintaining clear audit documentation.

What will you bring to the team?

• Senior accounting or finance management background with deep expertise in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) and financial controls.
• Proven track record leading finance transformation, process re‑engineering, or complex system implementations in multi‑national environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards and internal control frameworks translated into practical operational processes.
• Expert command of end‑to‑end R2R cycles within complex, multi‑currency, and high‑growth organizations.
• Broad experience with large‑scale ERP systems (Workday Financials) and consolidation tools (OneStream).
• Skilled in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2) and hands‑on process mapping with subject matter experts.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, committed to helping teams succeed across diverse cultures.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills, clear communication, and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
