Just Eat Takeaway.com is expanding its Finance team in Amsterdam and seeks a Senior Financial Accountant - R2R to own the Record to Report for our Swiss entities. You will lead close processes, ensure IFRS compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams across borders.

You will optimize data workflows, drive automation initiatives, and support auditors while ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or Swiss Certification) or progress toward completion.
• Knowledge of IFRS; Swiss Code of Obligations or Swiss GAAP FER is a plus.
• Experience managing Record to Report cycles, statutory reporting, and payroll accounting in an international context.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle) and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Interest in data and automation using Power BI, SQL, Python, or AI productivity tools.

Join our Finance team as a Senior Financial Accountant - R2R focused on Record to Report (R2R) for our Swiss entities.

In this role, you will take ownership to lead financial reporting excellence, deliver data-driven strategic insights, and care for our cross-functional team. You will drive process optimization, enhance data workflows, and support automation initiatives across an engaging international environment.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Swiss local standards.
• Prepare local statutory financial statements, manage Swiss bridge reconciliations, and coordinate smoothly with audit partners.
• Oversee payroll accounting, pension contributions, and Value Added Tax (VAT) reconciliation processes in close alignment with regional teams.
• Manage intercompany accounting schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and group consolidation processes to safeguard reporting accuracy.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis across key balance sheet and Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts to surface actionable strategic trends.
• Champion process optimization and continuous improvement across core accounting workflows using automation and data-led best practices.

What will you bring to the team?

• A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting/Controlling) or progressing toward completion.
• Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations or Swiss GAAP FER being advantageous.
• Practical experience managing Record to Report (R2R) cycles, statutory reporting, and payroll accounting in an international environment.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Workday, or Oracle) alongside advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
• Curiosity for data and automation, with an interest in tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, or generative AI productivity solutions.
• Collaborative communication abilities in English, with Swiss German, French, or Italian language skills considered a helpful bonus.
