Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Lead Transformation Specialist for the FinAI team within the CFO organisation. You will champion customer-centric AI implementations across finance processes, partnering with engineers and cross-functional teams to shape a future-ready financial platform.

Responsibilities include driving AI strategy, leading agile delivery, and overseeing end-to-end lifecycle of AI products to deliver tangible business benefits across R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, and controls.

About this role

Welcome to the FinAI team within our CFO organisation. As the Lead Transformation Specialist you will be part of a brand new function designed to bring tangible benefits to our financial operations. You will champion a customer‑centric approach, partnering closely with forward‑deployed engineers and other cross‑functional team members. In this role, you will embody our core values to lead, deliver, and care, ensuring that AI implementations seamlessly align with our broader financial strategy. Through exceptional teamwork to deliver, you will help shape the future of our finance processes and drive technological innovation across the entire department.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Drive the strategy and governance of AI implementations within the CFO organisation, aiming high to transform our finance processes.


• Lead project and product management initiatives, collaborating across teams to ensure we drive excellence in every deployment.


• Navigate complex financial workflows, including R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, management reporting, treasury, and internal controls.


• Partner closely with forward‑deployed engineers and the wider Finance teams, driving agile sprint items to help one another succeed in delivering tangible business benefits.


• Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of financial AI products, simplifying processes to create clarity and operational efficiency.

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven background in finance transformation projects, demonstrating how you stay committed to achieving goals in dynamic environments.


• Strong technical understanding of AI concepts, including LLMs, frameworks, and memory management, allowing you to aim higher to drive excellence.


• Deep knowledge of financial systems and financial data; familiarity with OneStream, Anaplan, and Workday in your portfolio is highly advantageous.


• Experience collaborating with engineers to deliver on agile sprint items, bridging the gap between technical and financial teams.


• A curious mindset and strong problem‑solving skills, allowing you to remain comfortable with change and ambiguity as our function grows.


• Ability to develop an understanding of our internal and external partners to ensure AI solutions meet real business needs.


• Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on acting responsibly while making a lasting impact on our financial ecosystem.
