Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to lead R2R and Month-End Close improvements across a global finance environment. You will redesign end-to-end processes, drive automation, strengthen controls and support system implementations such as Workday and OneStream.

Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, this full-time role requires strong project and change-management skills, IFRS expertise and experience with multi-currency finance operations.

Qualifications

• Senior finance or accounting management experience with strong R2R expertise.
• Experience leading finance transformation, process redesign, or major system implementations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and financial control framework understanding.
• Experience in complex, multi-currency R2R environments.
• Proficiency with Workday Financials and OneStream or comparable ERP/consolidation platforms.
• Excellent process mapping, project and change management skills.
• Familiar with Agile, PRINCE2 or similar methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and redesign end-to-end R2R and Month-End Close processes to improve efficiency, reliability and speed.
• Lead finance transformation workstreams and deliver defined process and operational improvements.
• Reshape Month-End Close schedules and workflows across global finance teams.
• Review and update accounting policies, SOPs and process documentation.
• Define requirements for finance process automation across Workday Financials and OneStream.
• Lead workshops with Finance Leads, Controllers and Business Partners.
• Develop change management plans, training materials and communications.
• Ensure redesigned processes align with IFRS, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Identify process risks, dependencies and opportunities for further automation.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Systems and Operations teams to deliver transformation initiatives.
