Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Specialist to drive financial accuracy across the online sales ecosystem for an international sport company. You will partner with e-commerce and finance teams to optimise processes, reporting, and commercial performance.

The role requires at least 5 years in finance or e-commerce finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and fluency in English (Dutch a plus). Hybrid working in Capelle aan den IJssel with a competitive €50,000–€60,000 package.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, e-commerce finance, or digital operations.
  • Understanding of revenue flows, reconciliations, and financial controls within e-commerce operations.
  • Experience in an international, multi-country environment is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.
  • Fluent English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the financial integrity of the order-to-cash process across digital sales channels.
  • Managing reconciliations between e-commerce platforms, payment providers, ERP systems, and marketplace channels.
  • Investigating and resolving transaction discrepancies, settlement issues, and data inconsistencies.
  • Monitoring online payment performance, including settlements, refunds, chargebacks, and acceptance rates.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Collaborating with commercial, customer service, IT, supply chain and external partners to improve processes and data quality.
  • Contributing to automation, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement across digital finance.

You will act as a key partner to both e-commerce and finance teams, helping to optimise financial processes, reporting, and commercial performance.Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of revenue flows, reconciliations, and financial controls within e-commerce operations.
  • Experience within e-commerce operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
  • Experience in an international, multi-country environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of VAT, digital commerce transactions, and cross-border sales is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, sense of ownership, and continuous improvement mentality.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, Dutch language is a plus.
