Job summary

Hef Associates in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Finance Manager (member of the Management Team) to lead the finance department and drive professionalization during a transformation. You will supervise 6-7 FTE, ensure accurate reports and annual accounts, and partner with operations to strengthen budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and KPI reporting using Power BI.

The role requires a university or higher professional education in Finance, at least 5 years of experience including 2 in

Qualifications

• Completed higher professional education or university education in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Economics.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Demonstrable experience with Financial Planning & Control and business control development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and financial cycle.
• Set up and develop Financial Planning & Control, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning.
• Develop performance analyses and management information; improve reporting structures and KPIs.
• Strengthen the connection between finance and operations through active business partnering.
• Cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization; monitor financial risks.
• Co-ordinate audits and be the primary contact for external auditors and financial advisors.
