Job summary

HiiL is seeking a Senior Manager Finance & Operations to lead Finance & Control, IT and Process Management in a dynamic international NGO. You will manage a five-person team, report to the COO, and drive efficiency while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role demands strong budgeting, governance, and people leadership with fluency in English and Dutch and EU eligibility. It offers a full-time 40-hour week, a competitive salary, pension, laptop, and commuting support.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Finance or accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably international.
• Experience in budgeting and forecast drafting using spreadsheet software.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams with ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance & Control, IT, Process management, Security, Procurement, Legal, and Office operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Drive process improvements and manage cross-functional projects.
• Provide guidance to Executive Board and ensure high performance culture.
