Booking.com in Amsterdam is seeking a Finance Innovation & Process Design Intern to help tell the story behind the numbers. You will learn how Finance operates, apply the theory learnt from the books into real life work, and support daily operations across Finance teams.

The role focuses on Lean & AI-based process improvements, training and workshop support, strategic research on AI trends, and building a hands-on Proof of Concept.

Qualifications

• Identify Process Improvements through Lean & Technology applications Sprints.
• Learn Finance operations and apply theory to real projects.
• Develop data-driven insights to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify Process Improvements through Lean & Technology applications Sprints: shadow Finance teams to identify bottlenecks, coach Lean concepts, and develop quick-win AI automations.
• Training & Ops Support: manage admin and logistics of Lean/AI workshops and provide technical support.
• Strategic Research: explore AI trends to address Finance challenges.
• Proof of Concept Development: build hands-on prototypes for AI solutions.
