Midwich Benelux zoekt een Finance Administrator die de betalingsverwerking en AP-administratie beheert. Je verwerkt inkomende facturen, voert banktransacties uit, betaalt leveranciers en ondersteunt maand- en jaarafsluiting.

Qualifications

• MBO Niveau 4 in financiële richting.
• Min. 1–2 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare AP/financiële rol.
• Kennis van boekhoudkundige principes en procedures.
• Nauwkeurig, proactief en oplossingsgericht.
• Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en focus op efficiënte financiële verwerking.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.
• Ervaring met Microsoft Office-toepassingen.

Responsibilities

• Verwerk en verifieer inkomende facturen
• Verwerk banktransacties en reconciliaties
• Voer betalingen uit en beheer betalingen
• Beheer de accounts payable-administratie
• Onderhoud contact met leveranciers
• Los factuurdiscrepanties en geschillen op
• Ondersteun maand- en jaarafsluiting
• Draag bij aan procesverbeteringen binnen de financiële afdeling

Job description

As a Finance Administrator, you are an indispensable link in the financial process. You play a key role in managing the accounts payable administration and ensuring that all incoming invoices are processed and paid accurately and on time. You work closely with various departments to ensure that financial processes run smoothly.

You are not afraid to tackle challenges and always ensure a smooth completion of your tasks. Whether you are processing purchase invoices or meeting a deadline for bank reconciliations, you stay calm under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality work.

What Will You Do?

• Process and verify incoming invoices
• Process bank transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare and execute payments
• Manage the accounts payable administration
• Maintain contact with suppliers
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Actively contribute to process improvements within the finance department

What Do You Bring?

• MBO Level 4 working and thinking level, preferably in a financial discipline
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with operational responsibilities in bank postings, accounts payable administration and/or general ledger accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Accurate, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong sense of responsibility and focus on efficient financial processing
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
