Job summary

Micro1 zoekt een freelance professional met ruime ervaring in FP&A en financiële verslaggeving om realistische, gradable taken te ontwerpen op basis van echte financiën. U werkt aan criteria die tot consistente beoordelingen leiden in uiteenlopende documenten zoals reconciliaties en beleidsdocumenten.

De werkzaamheden vragen om scherpe analyse, nauwkeurigheid en het vermogen om lesmateriaal en referentiebestanden zorgvuldig samen te stellen.

Qualifications

• 5+ jaar hands-on FP&A, financiële verslaggeving, audit, reconciliaties of accounting.
• Ervaring met gestructureerde beoordelingsstandaards zoals checklists en rubrics.
• Sterke Excel-vaardigheden en vermogen om meerdere documenten tegelijk te analyseren.
• CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA of gelijkwaardig is een plus, maar niet vereist.
• Sterk schriftelijk Engels

Responsibilities

• Ontwerpen van multi-step taken afkomstig uit echte financiën en accounting.
• Definiëren van objectieve beoordelingscriteria zodat beoordelaars tot dezelfde conclusie komen.
• Opdrachten maken die oordeelsvermogen vereisen in plaats van louter opzoekwerk.
• Ondersteunend materiaal creëren of zoeken zoals spreadsheets en financiële staten.
• Taken markeren die ambigu of niet te scoren zijn en uiteindelijk opleveren.
• Opleveren van goedgekeurde taken op schema en met gewenste kwaliteit.

Job description

This job is with our partner Micro1. The work is to turn real finance workflows into benchmark tasks: realistic, difficult, and gradable against objective criteria. If you’ve built a review checklist, trained a junior analyst against a standard, or signed off on someone else’s workpapers, that’s the instinct this needs.

Scope of Work

• Design multi-step tasks drawn from real finance and accounting work - FP&A analysis, financial reporting, audit procedures, reconciliations - with realistic reference files and clear instructions.

• Define objective grading criteria so two qualified reviewers would reach the same verdict on the same output.

• Build tasks that require judgment rather than lookup: ones where the right answer depends on reading the materials correctly.

• Create or source the supporting materials each task needs: spreadsheets, GL extracts, financial statements, policy documents.

• Flag tasks that turn out to be ambiguous or ungradable instead of submitting them anyway.

• Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on responsibility in FP&A, financial reporting, audit, reconciliations, or accounting - direct ownership of the work, not supervisory-only or adjacent exposure.

• Experience creating or applying structured review standards: audit programs, review checklists, close checklists, grading rubrics, or training assessments.

• Strong Excel capability and comfort reasoning across multiple documents at once.

• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is a plus, but not required.

• Strong written English.
