Job summary

Nordsol is seeking a Field Support & Parts and Equipment Specialist in the Netherlands to advise customers on complex troubleshooting and oversee the mechanical completion of equipment on site. You will manage the warehouse, assemble maintenance kits, and coordinate spare parts across assets for start-up and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repairs of rotating equipment.
• Preferably experience with piston compressors.
• Experience with new construction projects is a big bonus.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical advisor, provides support for complex troubleshooting, maintains, and offers technical assistance in the field for new construction projects
• Responsible for the mechanical completion of equipment on site in preparation for start‑up and commissioning
• Test-run & loopchecks: To prepare for the mechanical completion of loose equipment, perform technical inspections with suppliers
• Responsible for warehouse management and incoming and outgoing goods, and assembles specific kits and tools for planned maintenance or shutdowns
• Manages technical spare parts and links them to the correct assets and service tasks in the system, and prepares critical spare part lists
• Experience in maintenance and repairs of rotating equipment
• Preferably experience with piston compressors
• Experience with new construction projects is a big bonus

As a field support & parts and equipment specialist, you will combine strategic insight with hands‑on execution. You will be responsible for the entire ecosystem of our technical spare parts, from analyzing failure risks for our latest iLNG models to efficiently organizing the physical warehouse. Your role is crucial in the field, advising customers on complex troubleshooting and preparing for critical shutdowns, ensuring the mechanical completion of equipment, and actively participating during the start‑up and commissioning of our projects.
