Job summary

DroneShield Limited in Amsterdam is expanding its European Operations and seeks a Field Service Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on customer-facing field engineering support, ensuring deployment, integration, and sustainment of DroneShield’s C-UAS systems across Europe, reporting to the EU Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Experience providing direct customer technical support.
• Experience with networking devices is essential.
• Proficiency with Linux is essential.
• Experience in testing of complex systems.
• NATO security clearance preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EU Sales and Australian Delivery teams to provide technical support during engagements.
• Plan, manage, and execute installation and integration of multi-product C-UAS systems in the field.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, handling system diagnostics, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and maintenance.
• Perform validation testing of new hardware and software releases.
• Deliver operator and maintainer training for end-users.
• Develop and maintain documentation of DroneShield systems and processes.
