Job summary

JBT Marel in Boxmeer is seeking Field Service Engineers to strengthen our global service team. You will install and commission machines, control systems and software at customer sites and troubleshoot technical issues to keep production running smoothly.

Depending on your background, you can focus on electrical engineering, automation, PLCs, software or process control, and you will travel internationally about 50–60% with support from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, IT or related.
• Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, electrical systems, software or process control.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in an international environment.

For JBT Marel, an international leader in advanced machinery and automated production lines for the global food processing industry, I am looking for Field Service Engineers to strengthen the growing Service Team in Boxmeer. In this role, you will work on innovative technologies at customer sites around the world. From installing and commissioning equipment to troubleshooting complex technical issues, you will play an important role in ensuring that customers' production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Depending on your background and interests, you can focus on electrical engineering, control systems and PLCs, or on process control, software, data and industrial IT. What will you do?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with practical problem-solving and direct customer contact. Your responsibilities will include:

What are we looking for?

You do not need to tick every box to be considered; your technical foundation, learning ability and motivation are just as important. Ideally, you bring:

• A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, IT or a related technical field;
• Experience with, or a strong interest in, industrial automation, PLCs, electrical systems, software or process control;
• A practical, analytical and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges;
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset;
• A good command of English;
• A willingness to travel internationally and work in an international environment.
