Job summary

TMC in Eindhoven is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to test, optimize and deliver automation systems on client sites. You will work closely with software and hardware engineers during final project phases, both on-site and potentially internationally.

We offer an immediate permanent contract and a salary up to €6,500 per month, plus a discretionary training budget of €2,200 per year and profit-sharing on projects. You should have a relevant engineering background and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• A completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or a related discipline.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, or service is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC, HMI, drive technology).
• You can work independently and remain focused under time pressure.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Willingness to (occasionally) travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning machines and production lines (nationally and possibly internationally).
• Testing PLC software, hardware, and safety functions.
• Performing FAT, SAT, and acceptance tests.
• Analyzing and resolving issues during commissioning.
• Coordinating with engineering, project management, and the client.
• Documenting findings and implementing improvements.
• Supporting training and handover to the client.
