Job summary

Nolaon Industries is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer / Inspector to perform periodic inspections, maintenance, assembly and certification of safety equipment. You will work both in our workshop and on client sites across the country, ensuring fall-protection, confined-space, rescue and evacuation systems remain compliant and operational.

The role combines practical field work with workshop duties, requiring strong attention to safety procedures, documentation, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical education (MBO level) in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on maintenance and inspection experience.
• Fluent Dutch; working English is an advantage.
• Valid category B driver's license and willingness to travel across the country.
• Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic inspections, maintenance, assembly and certification of safety equipment.
• Perform quality checks on components against European standards.
• Assemble, test and certify PPE and safety systems to EN/NEN standards.
• Diagnose faults, service and repair equipment in the field.
• Install new fall-protection and rescue/evacuation systems at client locations.
• Log inspections and certifications in the Service Management System.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to client safety officers.
• Signal opportunities for replacements or upgrades to the sales team.
