Job summary

HONOR Safety & Consultancy B.V. is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer / Inspector to perform inspections, maintenance, assembly, and certification of technical safety equipment.

You will work in the workshop and on client sites, ensuring fall‑protection, confined-space, rescue and evacuation gear meets EN and NEN standards. You will document findings in the Service Management System, communicate with safety officers, and support sales with potential upgrades or additional inspections.

Qualifications

• MBO level technical education or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on maintenance and inspection experience.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and valid B licence.
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inspections and certifications of fall-protection systems, rescue equipment, and evacuation installations.
• Conduct quality checks on components against EN/NEN standards.
• Assemble, test, and certify PPE and safety systems.
• Diagnose faults, repair equipment, and service systems in the field.
• Install new safety systems at client sites, following drawings and safety procedures.
• Log inspections and issue certificates in the Service Management System.
• Liaise with clients' safety officers on-site and report findings.
• Identify opportunities for replacements or upgrades and relay to sales.
