Job summary

MSF is seeking an IPC Manager for the Ebola emergency response. You will lead the infection prevention and control program to safeguard patients, caretakers and staff according to MSF protocols and standards.

The role requires deployment within 3 months for an initial 12-16 week rotation, followed by a 21-day post-deployment monitoring. French proficiency (B2) is required; Ebola/VHF outbreak experience is a strong asset, with flexibility for field settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ebola response, VHF or outbreak settings is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Define IPC objectives and annual plan with the IPC committee.
• Set up monitoring and surveillance for IPC activities.
• Ensure standard and transmission-based precautions across all facilities.
• Develop training plans and materials for staff on IPC.
• Coordinate HR processes for staff recruitment and development.
• Report irregularities and provide action recommendations.
