Job summary

SFI Green Markets in Amsterdam is seeking a Feedstock Broker to source and manage feedstock flows across global markets, building strong supplier and buyer relations and identifying arbitrage opportunities to support the biofuels value chain.

You will work with biofuel producers, trading houses and market participants, ensuring sustainability criteria, regulatory awareness, and efficient deal execution in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to regulatory developments and logistics

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in feedstock trading/broking, biofuels, or related commodities markets.
  • Knowledge of pricing mechanisms, logistics, and arbitrage opportunities in physical commodity markets.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Source, execute, and manage physical trades of biofuel feedstocks (e.g. UCO, tallow, POME, vegetable oils).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, collectors, aggregators, and end-users.
  • Identify new sourcing opportunities and build a robust supplier network across key regions.
  • Monitor and analyze feedstock market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply/demand fundamentals.
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability criteria and certification schemes (e.g. ISCC, RED II/III).
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments impacting feedstock eligibility and traceability.
  • Collaborate with internal trading and operations teams to optimize logistics and deal execution.

As part of our growth, we’re seeking a Feedstock Broker to join our dynamic team and play a key role in securing and trading sustainable feedstocks that power the biofuels value chain.

Role OvervieW

As a Feedstock Broker, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and managing feedstock flows across global markets. You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and buyers, identify arbitrage opportunities, and contribute to the expansion of SFI Green Markets’ feedstock portfolio. You will work closely with biofuel producers, trading houses, and other market participants to navigate supply chain complexity and support the growth of sustainable fuel production.

Key Responsibilities
