Job Description

ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking a Crenshaw Lab Assistant to serve as an Undergraduate Genomics Core Lab Assistant for the preparation of materials used in teaching labs.

Lab assistants are responsible for:

• The preparation of reagents
• Laboratory setup
• Laboratory breakdown
• Maintaining teaching labs for biochemistry and biotechnology
• Cleaning teaching laboratories

No experience required this could be an excellent resume builder as you will learn lab principles and techniques and receive multiple trainings.

The student must also be available to work a minimum of 4 hours a week around their class schedule.

GPA Requirement

Minimum of 2.5

Preferred majors
