Job summary

1UPPLY is seeking a Medior FEC Testing Expert to execute model tests and design tests for sanctions and AB&C screening models. You will guide colleagues and review test reports, building expertise in sanctions screening while connecting risk, business, and technology.

You will own testing methodology, develop fit-for-purpose designs, and support model tuning and remediation. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with Utrecht office days.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in model testing, validation, monitoring or analytics within FEC, sanctions, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Experience designing tests, assessing results and producing or reviewing auditable test documentation and management reporting.
• Ability to understand complex model logic, data flows and system behaviour and translate findings into risk and business implications.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence engaging with Model Owners, Compliance, Audit and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute model tests, analyse results and document conclusions in clear test reports.
• Own and advance the testing methodology with a risk-based approach to model monitoring and changes.
• Define fit-for-purpose test designs, evaluation criteria and documentation standards.
• Design and set up tests for new models, onboardings and new model functions.
• Review test plans and reports to ensure evidence-based conclusions suitable for decision-making.
• Build knowledge of screening models and use outcomes to identify gaps and improvements.
• Support model tuning and remediation and improve test coverage, monitoring and reporting.
• Support colleagues in strengthening testing approaches and stakeholder communication.
