Job summary

Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Steward to support data management across research studies, ensuring data are well-structured, reliable and FAIR. You will work closely with researchers to collect, curate and standardise diverse data types, contributing to high-quality translational cancer research.

The role requires MSc or PhD (preferable) with ability to think independently, and strong communication within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD preferred; capable of independent thinking.
• Experience with data management, validation checks and summary statistics.
• Experience with electronic data capture systems.
• Bash, R and Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

• As data steward, aid researchers with collection, checking, curating and structuring data.
• Contribute to standardising and automating data flows for multiple studies.
• Support FAIR data management across research projects.
