Job summary

Schunk Xycarb Technology in Helmond, NL, is seeking a Robotics & Automation Engineer for the operations team. You will implement factory automation using robots, cobots and AGVs, and support maintenance and projects across the production floor.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor in Mechatronics, Mechanics or Electronics, has at least 3 years in automation, fluent English, CAD experience, and hands-on robot programming with Yaskawa, Fanuc or MiR, plus Siemens PLCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics/Mechanics or Electronics.
• ≥3 years in automation projects.
• Fluent in English; Dutch appreciated.
• CAD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance with automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and address issues.
• Engage with automation suppliers and assess solutions for SXT needs.
• Introduce new equipment, integrate and commission projects in the factory.
• Manage projects and align stakeholders internally and externally.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
