Job summary

De Bijenkorf in Eindhoven is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional responsible for inspecting and maintaining building installations, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs. You will support relocations and layout changes, ensure smooth operation of cash systems, and collaborate with contractors to keep facilities in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building and installations including sprinkler systems, heating, cooling, and emergency power.
• Detect and log malfunctions and perform troubleshooting to determine causes.
• Perform repairs on installations and inventory, disassembling and replacing parts when needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on technical systems and installations.
• Check cash register systems to ensure optimal functioning.
• Collaborate with external contractors for maintenance or repair tasks.
• Assist with internal relocations and layout adjustments.
• Reposition lighting, cash registers, and PC hardware within the building.
• Monitor inventory of tools and basic materials and order necessary items.

About the role

• Assist with (internal) relocations and layout adjustments.
• (Re)position lighting equipment, cash registers, and PC hardware within the building.
• Monitor the inventory of tools and basic materials.
• Order necessary materials according to agreed procedures.

Under our collective labor agreement, you will receive:

• A gross monthly salary up to €2.592,17 (based on a 38-hour workweek)
