Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Facility/DG Employee for its Distribution Center. The role focuses on welcoming visitors, onboarding staff, purchasing, and supporting regulatory compliance for dangerous goods.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in logistics, IATA certification or willingness to obtain, and strong ISO/GDP knowledge. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
• Purchasing consumables for warehouse and office.
• Reporting damages and observations in a proactive manner.
• Supporting pest control, temperature control, access control and equipment maintenance & calibration, and audits.
• Maintaining contact with QC for accurate records.
• Checking shipments containing dangerous goods (IATA, ADR, IMO).
• Recording DG issues during inspection processes and completing checklists.
• Serving as a point of contact for warehouse and backline activities.
• Troubleshooting packaging-related DG issues.

We are looking for an Facility/DG Employee for your Distriburion Center.

Your Role

• Welcoming and assisting visitors and maintenance staff, including ensuring they comply with applicable safety regulations
• Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding
• Purchasing (consumable) goods for the warehouse and office
• Playing a proactive role in reporting damage and/or other relevant observations
• Supporting with the pest control, temperature control, access control and equipment maintenance & calibration compliance. And participation in internal and external audits
• Maintaining active contact with the QC department for accurate and up-to-date records
• Checking shipments containing dangerous goods (IATA, ADR, and IMO)
• Recording DG issues throughout the entire inspection process
• Completing and various checklists and point of contact for warehouse and backline
• Troubleshooting and resolving packaging-related DG issues

Your Profile

• MBO-level (secondary vocational education)
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience within logistics
• Experience with dangerous goods
• Valid IATA-certificate and certificates for internal transport or willing to obtain
• English fluent verbal and in writing (Dutch is a plus)
• Knowledge of MS Office programs
• Strong understanding of ISO, GDP and audit-critical purposes
• Excels at working both independently and as part of a team
• Solution-oriented, responsible and pro-active
• Physically able to sit, stand, speak, use hands, reach with hands and arms, see, listen and type
• Physically able to lift up to 25 kg
