GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled Facility Coordinator to support our Lelystad warehouse. You will coordinate maintenance, manage suppliers, and ensure facilities and installations stay safe, compliant and fully operational.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, support sustainability, and uphold high standards in a dynamic, international environment.

Formación

• 3+ years in Facility Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator or similar role.
• MBO Level 4 or HBO degree in Facility Management or related field.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or fast-paced operations.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, building infrastructure and/or electrical installations preferred.
• Strong English communication; Dutch an advantage.
• Experience with external contractors and service providers.
• LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors for building systems and warehouse equipment.
• Monitor performance against service levels and follow up on actions.
• Maintain maintenance records, compliance documents and performance reports.
• Provide excellent service to operational stakeholders for facility-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with GXO policies, health and safety standards and legislation.
• Promote a safe working environment and contribute to safety initiatives.
• Support sustainability initiatives to reduce energy use and waste.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices.

Are you passionate about creating a safe, efficient and well-maintained working environment? At GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Facility Coordinator to support our warehouse in Lelystad supporting a very established technological customer. In this role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage external suppliers and ensure that facilities and technical installations continue to operate at the highest standards. You will play a key part in supporting operational excellence by keeping our site safe, compliant and fully operational. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you'll contribute directly to the performance of the operation while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and on time
• Manage relationships with approved suppliers and contractors responsible for building systems and warehouse equipment
• Monitor performance against agreed service levels and follow up on corrective actions where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation and performance reports
• Provide excellent service to operational stakeholders by responding quickly and effectively to facility-related issues
• Ensure compliance with GXO policies, Health & Safety standards and applicable legislation
• Promote a safe working environment and actively contribute to safety initiatives
• Support sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption, waste and environmental impact
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of best practices across the site

What You'll Bring To GXO

• MBO Level 4 or HBO degree in Facility Management or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Facility Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator or similar role
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or a fast-paced operational environment
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, building infrastructure and/or electrical installations is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is considered an advantage
• Experience working with external contractors and service providers
• Familiarity with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
