Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor for its Grandmother Café in Amsterdam. You will lead the front-of-house team during service, guide the crew through busy shifts, and ensure a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for guests.

You’ll collaborate with the Café Manager, contribute to onboarding for new team members, and maintain smooth daily operations. English and Dutch proficiency is required, with additional languages a bonus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a shift leader role, with ability to lead during busy service
• Clear communication and calm under pressure
• Eye for detail and consistency in service
• Genuine hospitality energy and guest-facing demeanour
• Able to work with different teams and lead by example
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a bonus

As our F&B Supervisor in the Grandmother Café, you guide the team through each shift while keeping the energy high and the service smooth. You set the tone on the floor, support the crew when things get busy, and make sure our guests leave smiling. You’ll work closely with the Café Manager, help new team members find their rhythm, and keep daily operations running like a well‑oiled machine.

What You’ll Have

• You have 2 years of experience in as shift leader role, and you bring confidence leading a team during service
• You communicate clearly and stay calm when things get busy
• You have an eye for detail and keep service consistent
• You bring genuine hospitality energy and enjoy being guest-facing
• You work well with different teams and lead by example
• You speak English and Dutch; extra languages are a bonus
