Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking an F&B Supervisor for the Grandmother Café. You’ll lead the front-of-house during service, set a positive tone, and guide the crew to keep guests smiling and the service smooth.

With 2 years in a shift-leader role and fluency in English and Dutch, you’ll partner with the Café Manager, train new teammates, and uphold hospitality standards across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-of-house team during service and set a positive, upbeat tone.
• Guide the crew on the floor, helping them solve small issues in the moment.
• Support training and onboarding for new team members.
• Keep daily operations smooth by checking setups, stock, cleanliness and safety.
• Stay present on the floor, chat with guests and jump in where needed.
• Handle transactions accurately and pass on any irregularities.
• Share targets for the shift and motivate the team to reach them.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing.

You’ll bring calm structure to the café, guiding the team through busy morning rushes and keeping the atmosphere friendly and relaxed.

You’re the kind of person who loves being in the middle of the action, and that’s exactly where this role lives. As our F&B Supervisor in the Grandmother Café, you guide the team through each shift while keeping the energy high and the service smooth. You set the tone on the floor, support the crew when things get busy, and make sure our guests leave smiling. You’ll work closely with the Café Manager, help new team members find their rhythm, and keep daily operations running like a well-oiled machine.

What You’ll Have

• You have 2 years of experience in as shift leader role, and you bring confidence leading a team during service
• You communicate clearly and stay calm when things get busy
• You have an eye for detail and keep service consistent
• You bring genuine hospitality energy and enjoy being guest-facing
• You work well with different teams and lead by example
• You speak English and Dutch; extra languages are a bonus
