Generator Amsterdam is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to join Europe’s fast-moving hospitality brand. You will support the F&B management team to deliver a smooth operation, ensure service excellence, and drive guest satisfaction in a buzzing Amsterdam location.

You’ll lead by example, train staff, and uphold H&S and hygiene standards while contributing to revenue growth and cost control within a dynamic, urban hotel environment.

Generator Amsterdam is located in the up-and-coming eastern side of the city overlooking Oosterpark. This former zoological university building can accommodate 564 guests in 168 twin and quadruple rooms with incredible views on the surrounding and en-suite bathrooms. There is also one luxury apartment for six people with views of the park and a self-catered kitchen. It has flexible and spacious social areas, filled with creative design touches like glass-fronted elevators, a raised café and an outdoor terrace. We’ve turned the former lecture hall into an impressive chill-out lounge and bar, while the old library is now a relaxation and private events room. The basement and café are now dining destinations and the original boiler room has become a secret late-night bar.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Assist the F&B management team to create a smooth-running operation and provide an excellent service
• To support with initiative and commitment to the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenue, costs and teamwork
• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all customer requests and enquiries, ensuring that you maintain a “can do” attitude at all times
• Demonstrate in depth knowledge of both the food and beverage menu
• Know all statutory legislation and ensure H&S, Fire Safety and Food Hygiene compliance
• Develop and train all employees within your charge in order that they perform to the required standard
• Communicate effectively so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them

• Appropriate experience in the field of F&B
